Few instruments are so deeply connected with its roots as the horn with the forest. That’s why the four young Belgian horn players of Korpus Kwartet bring the instrument back to its origin. Don’t expect traditional hunting music, but a completely new approach. Together with composer Siebe Thijs they set to work integrating refreshing insights from the bestseller ‘The Hidden Life of Trees’ by the German forester Peter Wohlleben into a brand new piece: WALD. Watch, listen and feel the wondrous world full of feelings and emotions that houses the massive trunks of the wood.
